High Performance Riding Tights: Function x Style
The one piece every equestrian athlete needs in their wardrobe is a good pair of riding tights. With so many options available, choosing a style that works for you can be challenging. So we thought we should give our High Performance Riding Tights a proper introduction so that you can decide whether they’re right for you.
The Fabric
The High Performance fabric used in all of our core range was selected to not only look and feel great, but to aid in rider support and recovery as well.
Our High Performance fabric comprises temperature regulation to keep you warm in winter and cool in summer. As well as moisture wicking technologies that draw moisture away from the body keeping you feeling fresh and dry. The fabric also has 4-way stretch that moves with your body, and compression.
Did you know that compression can help to:
- Improve blood flow and muscle oxygenation;
- Reduce muscle injuries;
- Accelerate recovery and remove lactic acid faster;
- Increase strength and power; and
- Improve endurance
Did you also know that most of these recovery benefits only occur when the tights are worn after exercise?
This is one of the reasons why we designed our High Performance tights to mimic the look of workout tights!
The Style
Our High Performance Riding Tights are designed to bring you the ultimate in function and style. They are high waisted with a flattering wide waist band, smooth flat lock seam detailing and two large seamless phone pockets.
They are designed for maximum comfort, and style to encourage continued wear after your ride allowing you to recover longer and more effectively!
The subtle inner thigh, knee and calf grip system provides extra support when riding, while maintaining the flawless finish of the tights.
Every detail of the High Performance Riding Tights are expertly designed to bring you confidence when training in the saddle, as well as in the gym.
We hope you’ve enjoyed getting to know our High Performance Riding Tights. As always, remember to tag us @podiumequestrian and show us how you wear your riding tights!
